Hey everyone,

Had to do my run this morning because I am going out after work tonight.

Hope you all have a great day. Here's my report for the day:

Daily Run Report

Date: 10/12/2007 Time: 04:09
Run Type: Just A Run
Distance: 5.0 miles
Total time: 00:53:05.1 Average Per Mile: 00:09:36.6
Course: Home 5 mile loop
Max HR (for entire workout): 149
Average HR: 133
Shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 10 - 10/2007 Date Entered Service: 10/10/2007 Ending Mileage: 18.0
Weather:
Temperature: 58 Temperature Type: Ambient Air Time: Start
Temperature: 58 Temperature Type: Ambient Air Time: End
Dew Point: 57 Time: Start
Dew Point: 58 Time: End
Wind speed: 0 Max Gust: 1 Direction: VAR

Plan today called for 5 miles recovery with 8x100m strides. Well the strides did not happen, but the 5 miles did.

I wanted to give the legs more easy running than the strides would allow.
Run Segments
Today was supposed to be a rest day from cardio, but I may add a little when I go to the gym later just to stay loose since I'm supposed to do a 5K tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about it b/c I haven't done a race or really pushed it since June, before I hurt my hammy.

Hi all - Been suffering with my Plantar Fasciitis all week, and with travelling back home from vacation it was a good time to rest it for a few days. First run since my little race last Saturday today, and a very easy 5 miler.

Planning on a Fun Run tomorrow, another 5 Miler for a Homeless Charity - In the Phoenix Park - Hopefully all will be well with the heel.

Happy running everyone,

Good luck with your heel Liam. Do they have ART there? I know a few folks who highly recommend it for PF.

20 minute walk in the light rain & then @20 minutes of yoga. My legs want to run!

9.29 miles in 1:27:04 for a pace of 9:22. If you take out the almost 3.5 minutes for water break and traffic stop then the pace drops down to 9:05. Not to bad.

Liam, I am keeping a watchful eye and administering lots of TLC to my PF which seems to be slightly flaring right now too. Let's hope we can both keep the beast at bay.

3.25 mile loop from my house in temperatures finally in the low 60s! Pretty soon they will be in the 50s, even better! It felt like I was just getting started and then the run was done.

I also did 45 min. of yoga and some core/stretching stuff with the foam roller.
