Hello all, hope you all have a wonderful day ahead of you. I've been slowly trying to get back to running but the heel pain is kicking up, so it's back to the boot and ibuprofen. But lots of yoga. Can't believe how strong I am getting!

Hi FB!

Hi Monday! I really should do more yoga.... my flexibility isn't that great.

KS, the rotated pelvis thing sounds very familiar to me. Several years ago, I was getting a similar thing, but perhaps not as bad. Had weak glutes and the TFLs kept getting overloaded and going into spasms on me. My RMT caught on to the pelvic rotation and was able to re-align me successfully. PT exercises I was given for the glutes helped, but I've been seeing my RMT on a regular basis ever since to occasionally reset the pelvis to level. The hip exercises have helped quite a bit to prevent recurrence.

Big flakes of snow are now coming down outside my office window, which is great as they were predicting freezing rain instead.

No run for me today, but will spend some time in the gym later to work on the hips, core, abs etc.

Trail group run tomorrow...goody, goody!!!

Good Morning!

Brought the running gear in case i have time for a RAL today. Yesterday was my rest day with some stretching and core work while watching the telly last night.

I'll second Johnny's suggestion of doing some stretching KS. I know some runners never do and never have an injury either. Personally, if I don't, I get too tightened up which then adversely affects all those other connecting ligaments/muscles, etc. Probably wouldn't hurt to try it out.

Johnny, I'm volunteering at the RRHM on the 18th. You wanna come out and join me?
