<p>Not fun was catching that earthquake and then tsunami footage as it was happening last night.  That was as chilling a scene as I've ever witnessed - it seemed like many people didn't quite know what was happening, as they were either driving toward the point where the road was about to be inundated or gathering along the side of parking lots to see what was going on just on the other side of the fence.  Some decided to abandon their autos (couldn't tell if that was the right or wrong decision, but I'm leaning on the latter) to try to escape the water.</p>

<p>It kinda' lends a whole new light to the "Tsunami Zone" signs <strong>Kris </strong>and I saw along the Oregon & California coastlines last September</p>

<p>I have to admit, everytime you make mention of your co-worker, I try to assess if I'm one of those.  I talk to myself all the time.  Or rather...I swear at my computer or tell it to do what I want or I laugh out loud for no apparent reason.  There is a reason, of course.  It's just not apparent to the guy sitting on the other side of the cubicle wall.  I feel fine about it.  Really.  but I do wonder... </p>

<p> I've been following the earthquake and tsunami footage since I first saw it last night after my chat w/ Moonie.  He mentioned the areas we saw on our trip.  Here are some photos of the ocean from the motel where we stayed in Crescent City.  If the tsunami is as high as 7 ft as they say, I think the waters will reach the motel.  It's not flat on the beach, we did have to go down some steps, but I don't think it was 7 ft worth.</p>
