<p>No doubt you've seen the YouTube of lady that falls into the mall fountain while texting.  Well, duh!  Watch where you are going!  Now, she has a lawyer and she's going to sue.  First, she claims that no one came to her aid when she fell.  Second, she's embarrassed because the video went viral.  She wants payback.  What the heck is this world coming to?  Can't anyone take responsibility for their own (stupid) actions?!</p>

<p>The lawsuit won't really go anywhere.  What the attorney and her are hoping is the mall will pay hush money just to shut her up.  I can't imagine any jury not laughing her right out of the courtroom.  And maybe a judge fining her for filing a frivolous lawsuit.</p>

I know...that just kills her argument doesn't it. I mean she knew the thing existed, it's her own dam fault for not paying attention.<br><br><br>

<p>1) She was stupid.  She admitted that she knew that the fountain was close but was distracted.  Can laugh about it.</p>
<p>2) What she's upset about is the Youtube bit.  If it were someone else other than security cameras she'd grin and bear it, but she's upset that security tape was used.  Not sure what the privacy laws are, but that tape should be "priveleged" shouldn't it?</p>

<p>I used to work for several years as a part time mall security cop.  We saw all kinds of things on cameras when people had no idea they were being filmed.  I'm not aware of any privacy issues, although someone could make that argument.  We had film of people in office towers having sex in the stairwells and shared those with their HR department if  they worked in the towers which virtually always cost them their job.  No one ever sued over the films.  We didn't have you tube back then to "post" any films to.</p>

<p>Here name was never revealed in the video, and you could not tell who she was from the video.</p>

<p>SHE was the one that outed herself.</p>

<p>Therefore, her privacy was not violated.  Not that you have a right to privacy anyway.</p>

<p>Oh, by the way, not this has anything to do with it, but, she is in a little trouble with *5* (yes, I typed 5) felony counts from earlier in her life.</p>
