Shirley, I thought someone would have started a daily by now . . .

I ran 5 miles at lunch time. nice and sunny out here today. and i overdressed by wearing a short sleeve with long sleeve over it. After one mile, I wrapped that long sleeve around my waist and heard Ribs reprimanding me.

decent pacing today. 9.43, 9.30, 9.15, 9.17, 9.14.

Finally, a daily. I was excited about my lunch run but not the circuits. I did both so now I've earned another rest day. I just missed running with a couple of guys from the Y, and we can never get our schedules together. 4 miles easy, running in the grass whenever I could in the urban jungle.

Hi Tamster, Gobi, Opie, and Johnny. Seems everybody got posted out over the weekend.

I am making my way north saying goodby to warm weather for a while. I am currently in Davidson, NC heading to an anytime fitness for a run as it is going to be dark soon and I don't feel like getting lost in a strange place in freezing (48°) weather

I did have a great week of running last week getting over 57 miles in. That is by far the most since 7 or 8 months ago.

Congrats to Gobi on your very good 50k even if you did bonk a little at the end and to all the other great racers this weekend.

I was getting worried there for a while. Thanks for starting us off, Tamster. Nice run too.

TM this morning (it was -7F !!!) 6 miles progression, finishing with mile 6 at 8:00 pace. 8:36 avg. Right AT is a little tender, but no biggie. Followed that up with a good core w/o.

Steelers vs Packers, eh? I can live with that.

I'd rather have forgotten this Monday. Abysmal day at work, and my knee is crap again. I made it through one mile of my three mile recovery run before it gave out.

This might be it folks.

Ah, Lab.... give it some time still. We're not giving up on you yet.

Did a late 6 mile run on the work TM before heading home...... been busy since and couldn't sit down to post until now.

Even threw in 3X1 minute pick ups into mile 5. Felt good!

Snow on the way...hope it's not too much to get into work for morning spin class.

'Night all!

Awww Lab, that sucks. Maybe just back off a bit and give it some time. You've got about the same amount of (or lack of?) meniscus that Perchcreek has and he's worked up to some very good mileage. Just gotta treat it with extreme care.

Mike, c'mon. (hee)

Actually, we warmed up to about -3° and I was kind of excited about an outdoor run, but got into a time crunch where I needed to get my run done and done quickly with no real recovery time afterward (read: time to warm up afterward), so hopped back on that damned treadmill for 5.5 miles tonight, with 3 x .25 mile bits @ 7:30 pace in the later miles. Felt ok, harder than they should have. I really need to get outside and run some hills!!
