Food you make from scratch

1116 Views 29 Replies 13 Participants Last post by Gingerbread
I make my own yogurt, apple sauce and fruit sauces. A lot of stuff that you can buy ready-made, I make myself.
Bread is sth. that I buy and do not want to make myself.

I want to make my own broth, but I think it's difficult to store.
Rice milk I tried to make, too, but it's time consuming and not worth it.

Anyone found better tasting homemade foods than those commonly bought prepared in the stores?

at this time i make everything from scratch except some of the raw food bars i eat during my long runs and races and tofu and tempeh. I also buy store bought whole wheat organic pasta. Otherwise the rest of my food is made from scratch.
we got a bread machine for free and in the past have used it quite successfully. it is in our basement now
