Yes, it's me. And I'm back with yet another hot topic of discussion. I know, it's crazy. Some of you are probably still worked up about the egg discussion we had a while back. But I digress.<br><br>
How do you feel about flip flops in the workplace? I'm wearing mine today. Only because it's nice out. And my feet have grown, yet again, after this latest pregnancy so that they don't quite fit well into my former shoes. I was ok as long as it was cold because I was wearing my boots. But now that it's getting nice out, I need to invest in something else.<br><br>
I don't really care about flip flops in the workplace, as long as they're nice ones. These ones I have on are nice. But I'll need something more dressy, I'm thinking.

Holy, I'd be kicked outta Coach's office right quick today! I have a denim fitted jacket on over my white tshirt! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> But take all my illegal gear off and I'd really be in trouble!<br><br>
There's a lot of darkwash denim out there these days, geared for offices. I have a pair of wide-leg trouser jeans made out of it. And a knee-length skirt. And sundresses would be nice with a little sweater. And I see a lot of sneakers being worn around offices, too.<br><br>

My boss has a very lenient dress code. I can pretty much wear whatever I want and I want to wear jeans, tops and shoes that don't make my feet hurt.

As long as you are not meeting with clients, I think it is fine. Legally, via OSHA, I cannot wear open toed shoes or flip flops. me either ... I'm in jeans most of the time.<br><br>
I don't like flip-flops because I hate the feeling of things between my toes. Like gingerbread though, I have a pair I use in the locker room showers. One plantar wart in a lifetime (when I was a teenager) was enough for me.

There are flip flops and there are thong sandals...if they are rubber, then no, I don't think they are appropriate. If they are leather sandals that are thongs, then...maybe.

No can wear flip flops at any job I have ever held. I like that, as there is an damned annoying component to the sound, coupled with the incredible array of diseased feet that people have no fear of revealing. I often think, when I see those rotten toe nails and misarranged toes (seriously- they look "out of order"<img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif">, that they have far worse bodily anomalies and disease states that are covered up out of necessity.
