FJG Race To The Top Of Vermont

Come down to Stowe and join us for the 2nd annual <b>FJG Race To The Top Of Vermont</b> on Aug 30, 2009. The event is a 4.3 mile running or mountain bike hill climb up the famous Mt Mansfield Toll Road. Racers will climb 2,550 vertical feet to the summit parking lot on the highest mountain in Vermont. The race course starts on pavement for 3/10 of a mile before turning into gravel for 4 miles. Participants will be rewarded with one of the most spectacular views in the east overlooking three states and Canada.<br><br><b>Course Records:</b> <i>2008 was the first annual RTTOVT</i> <i>(Mountain Bikers) Male</i>: Jesse Downs 37:12, <i>Female:</i> Susan Lynch 45:37<br>

Awards:</b><br>
Awards will be presented to the top three racers in each 10-year age category for men and women in both running and mountain biking. The top three overall men and women for each category will also receive a special award along with the fastest team overall. Teams will consist of three people with at least one female. All teams must be either runners or cyclists.<br><br><b>What You Receive:</b><br>
All registered participants will receive a high quality race tech shirt, a Catamount Trail 8th Edition Guidebook, a post race BBQ, and be elligible for the many prizes in a large raffle.<br><br><b>Entry Deadlines:</b><br>
June 30 - $40, August 10 - $50, August 11- Race Day $55.00 (Will not receive tech shirt)<br>
