Hi there Kickfrens!

Did an hour of strength work in the gym before hitting my desk. Knees are a bit barky and I've a few achy spots, but seem to be reasonably unscathed by yesterday's fall. Uncoordinated guy was there too..... doing some "exercises" where I had absolutely no idea what he was trying to accomplish. Doing my best to try to keep from staring, but it hasn't been easy.

Our little running group seems to have a New Year's resolution to finally get treatment for various ouchies .......... in the last 3 days 5 people have asked me for the phone number of the physio clinic next door. I think I should be getting finders fees from them at this rate!

DH's birthday is on Tuesday, but he's suggested we do his dinner out tonight instead of waiting. Yikes.... now I have to figure out where to take him and make reservations fast. There are not a lot of fine dining options in our neighbourhood.

Hi Heme - any visible bruises yet? Pics of the uncoordinated guy? Youtube?

What's shaking? Me if I don't start running soon. Did an hour of elliptical this morning. Not like RIP does elliptical. Nice and steady. No pain in glute or hamstring but some slight ache in the small of the back above left hip. Not any different feeling than sitting here typing; so guess it was a success. May go out and just walk this afternoon.

6 miles for me today - which was one loop of the "big hills" route. Had the day off today instead of last Monday...sort of a floating New Years holiday.

10 miles "rolling hills" route planned for tomorrow I think.

Hey, At least Baba and HF got a run in for the rest of us.

I walked in the fitness center and it felt really warm. Temp of 75° was 5° higher than usual caused by an
