Hi, new to the forum transitioning from Coolrunning since I've only been there 10 weeks. I have my final C25K run tomorrow after work. I'll probably be posting in the "Masters? section since I'm 52 this year! I've been running befor (4 marathons, numerous 1/2, etc) but was sidelined 10 years ago with gout and I'm just getting back into it.
I think I'm just running for fitness this time and I'm not really looking to race. I would like to get my long run up to 5 or 6 miles though. I'm looking for the right follow on program. C25K has been good to me but I like to run for milage vs time.
Thanks for the great "free" site.

PS: fishing is my other passion (as seen by my avatar)

Hi Ken, and welcome!

Glad to hear that you've been able to return to running.

Great to have you here. If you take a look at the Intermediate 5K plan on this site, it's a follow on from the C25K Plan, and may help you in your goals.

As someone who is experienced from the old days, you'll have no problem transforming to a more consistant and higher level.

Good luck, and as you'll soon find out, just ask any questions and you'll get an answer.

Thanks for the welcome.
I get out bass fishing every chance I get, usually about once a month.
Now I'm looking forward to getting a run in on the trails around the lake when I'm done!
