Good Mornin' 30's,<br><br>
While you are all still fast asleep I'm at work. I've kinda been the Jack of all trades tonight because I'm floating until we get an admit. Hopefully we won't get any new babies tonight! I'm 1st and 2nd admit. With my luck that means twins at six am! Let's hope not.<br><br>
The best part was I got to feed and rock my primary. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Primary means if I'm working and they can make it happen I take care of him as often as possible everytime I work.<br><br>

Mornin' everyone! Baby has taken to waking up an hour earlier than usual lately...which means I'm getting an hour less sleep. Ah well...it's all good!<br><br>

I went out for dinner and beers last night with two of my friends. It was hi-lar-i-ous. We went to a local dive-y pub called Galway House, my friend was drinking PBR (I opted for the Harpoon IPA), we had huge plates of food (I took home half my chicken parm), incl onion rings (Patty got them with her burger) and fried clams (Kristin) which had their bellies and were big and fat and delicious. For whatever reason they give you a piece of fruit when you order a sandwich. Patty got an orange. Weird. We stuck a paper umbrella on Mr Orange and gave him a couple of eyes and he became the mascot of the evening.<br><br>
Evidently we are 9, because we were laughing so hard other people we gawking at us.<br><br><img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
Busy work days for me...a colleague of mine is leaving and while I know she will be missed after 23 years at the company, I have to admit it's a little bit of a relief, since I felt like I was constantly stepping on her toes. I don't want her job...but I need to align with her group and I didn't feel like I was able to.<br><br>
Tiff, it takes a special person to do what you do. I had Hodgkins Disease when I was 13 and after, my mother asked me if I wanted to be a doctor so I could help people like they helped me. My answer was a resounding NO. I never ever ever wanted to see sick people, think about illness, go back to a hospital again. (I didn't even like working at the research center at the VA, because it was in a hospital.) I give you a lot of credit.<br><br>
I am very happy it's Friday...but I have SO much work to do this weekend for the show. Like I expect I'll be out tomw from 8am till...about 10pm. Oy.

Maggiemoo and I have a 'drop by" time of 9am at the vet's. Technically, they don't have room for another appointment, but she hasn't eaten anything (other than what I've forced her to eat.. maybe 3 dog-sized bites in total) since Monday evening.<br><br>
I'm thinking that maybe her pain meds are upsetting her tummy. (she's been hurling some of her water back up). So, I'm going to ask if there is something else we can give to her that might make her feel better, and therefore bring her appetite back.<br><br>
Otherwise, it's been fairly routine, here. Our TM is fixed, so I am very happy about that.<br><br><b>Claire</b> - Baby Lena is just too cute!

gonna be another boring day at school. Day 2 of checkpoint test administration. ZZZZZZZZZZ. At least I can get the quizzes I've needed to grade for 2 weeks done. I already finished one set yesterday. Not fun---taking DS to the allergist for testing this morning. 19 skin pricks while Mama holds him. It sucked last time (and was inconclusive, hence the re-do) and I swore I was going to have DH do it this time, but he was home 2 days this week taking care of a sick DD.<br><br>
Better bring a load of tissues...for my tears, not his.<br><br><b>Maureen</b>, I haven't been to the Galway House in years! Now I want fried clams and onion rings and a mascot.<br><br>
My romantic Valentine's Day was spent working on a presentation for a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services conference later this Spring. Didn't quite need any Gatorade after that...<br><br>

Crazy day yesterday, a few bumps in my Valentine's Day plans for DH but it all worked out well in the end! And DH rocks, got me a gift card for 2 maternity massages to a local spa that is one of the absolute best evah..(been there once before, my dad gave me a GC for a whole day there a few years back). Oh and we pigged out on chocolate brownie sundaes last night while watching Arrested Development!! Tons of brownies left if anyone wants one!!!<br><br><b>Ailarie</b> I am voting on the pain killers making puppy tummy yucky! I had a similar situation and ended up with some other meds to give pup, worked like a charm and eating resumed. HI. Last night was pretty good. DW surprised me with a bedroom makeover (basically reaaranged the BR furniture and got new linens and drapes) when I got home. She says it was <i>for</i> me, I'm slightly skeptical about that. But I liked it, so it's all good (and its not like I needed anything).
