I LOVE my Fila Sanctuary iii shoes but they have 2 problems that will force me to find another shoe.<br><br>
1) I just went for a run in 1 inch of fresh snow. The snow got stuck in the hole in the heel. It built up and created a ball of ice that was impossible to run on.<br><br>
2) My usual running site is running out of them and no local retailers carry them<br><br>
Can anyone out there who liked these shoes recommend another shoe that fits and rides the same.<br><br>

I can sure see how they would be no good in the snow! I ran a trail race last weekend and opted not to wear my Filas because of the nearly smooth bottoms. But you sure can't beat them on the street.<br>
I've never run in the Pearl Izumis. I need a substantial arch which the Filas provide. I ran in the Mizuno Inspire before the Filas.<br>
You might try going over to the Runners World message board and posting in their shoe forum. There are a ton of "shoe people" who will chime in regarding shoe characteristics, fit, etc ....
