I live very close to where he's always shopping, too!! His wife shops at the Container Store (at Perimeter mall for locals) and my sister has met her and had the check she wrote (my sister was counting money for the store.) I was like, why didn't you write down his phone number so we could call him for tips?

I would love to run into him, but I have a feeling he goes early morning to the stores and I am always at work. Stupid job.

And to answer the original question, no i haven't seen it yet, though I saw the advert for it the other day. Will make an effort to catch it, though!

I haven't either but I did watch last season, some of them, and they were really fun. I like him, you can learn a lot by watching his stuff.

i really like how he incorporates the science into cooking (guess thats the science geek in me) and the cool "special effects" and props he uses

Oh, oh! I like his show, too!

It was the reason I learned to make really good turkey for Thanksgiving; before that it always turned out just OK.

Of course, I like the Food Network, anyway because I love to cook. Nothing better than having a whole house full of people over and putting together some big spread--I get all the joy of cooking stuff that's yummy, but don't have to actually eat it.

I'm a huge Top Chef junkie, too. I know, I know...

i think it isays a lot about southern eating when poor Alton has not had vegetables in a long time. Those greens did not even count as veggies in my book, they looked so overcooked and devoid of nutrients, ha!
