The First 48.

This is my favorite show. Each episode follows two real-life murder investigations. I'd love to see a behind-the-scenes show about it. It's so gritty! The investigators are so good at what they do. However I don't like Cops, which is surprising since I like The First 48. Maybe 48 has more of a crafted feel to it.

Thanks for reading about my favorite show. Tell me about yours.

I like Southland a lot too. I like the subplot about those two strong-willed women being partners, and the way they "butt" heads but make it work.

I know an 80+ years old lady who loves Two and a Half Men. It has a broad appeal. I wonder if it'd work without Sheen.

We watch Glee. I like a lot of HBO (Sopranos, The Wire, Rome, Six Feet Under, etc.).

We also watch House, Castle, Psych and the Mentalist.

I think The First 48 sounds good. I have watched a few minutes of 2.5 men and didn't see what people see in it and haven't tried again.

During one for my internet jaunts, I came across some pop-psychology article that claimed the House character was a sociopath because he had no empathy, or whatever.

Huh.

I still miss West Wing. I also really like the short lived show from the same writer. Studio something or other, it was about a fictitious SNL like show. It didn't last very long.

Dramatic shows right now I like Brothers and Sisters.

Sheen makes the shoe imo. I don't care for the guy's off screen persona but he is a funny guy on camera.
Breaking Bad has caught my eye too. Bryan Cranston in that role intrigues me.
Yes, he was.

He was also Dr. Tim Watley, the Dentist, on Seinfeld.

Really, I heard alot of good things about Breaking Bad.

That'll probably be my next series after I catch up on the Wire and Friday Night Lights.

Yes, yes it is.

I didn't even know about this show until I saw Jon Hamm on SNL, and then I heard a few things about it.

I rented the first season at the local video store 2 years ago. My wife and I watched the whole thing over a 3 day weekend.

We then used Amazon.com to watch seasons 2,3...and actually watched season 4 while it was airing last fall.

Really, really, phenomenal show. Great actors, great story. Really tremendous all the way around.

I can't recommend this show enough, yet I don't know anyone who watches it besides me and my wife. We bring it up around our family and such and people are like, "Mad Men, what's that?"

Really people, more of you should watch this. I'm not kidding. here's the entry on it for wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Men

I rent House from time-to-time and Scrubs. I watched an episode of The Big Bang Theory and found it boring, predictable and mean-spirited. To each their own I guess.
