I also will only wear my mp3 player when on the TM. I HAVE to change up my music because I'm so tired of listening to what is on there, but the songs that I currently have on it that I will keep are some of the funkier James Brown tunes, Tower of Power, John Mellencamp, and Nickelback. I love Nickelback for when I'm ramping up my speedy and intensity. Even if I wasn't planning on cranking up the speed, I can't help it when Nickelback comes on. There are also a few Dave Matthews Band tunes I'll keep on - they have a real good tempo for running.

I love Greg Allman also. DH and I have seen him twice in concert now - one being just this summer at an outdoor amphitheater (The Britt) with Johnny and his wife. great show.

oh, forgot about Jonny Lang - I have some of his music on my mp3 player that is also very good. I've seen him twice in concert - back when he was more rock/bluesy. The last time I saw him, a few yrs ago, it seems like he's gone more of a softer ballad type musician. I like the "old" Jonny better.

I also saw Susan Tedeschi when she was first making herself known. Buddy Guy introduced her at a show at Pier 70, in Seattle, as a new and upcoming talent. Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang were actually performing that concert. I loved her and promptly bought her first CD. She's an awesome blues singer. real powerful raspy voice.

hadn't thought about Dead Can Dance in years! I think I have a CD of their somewhere . . .

Robert Cray is one I'm going to add to my mp3 player when i get around to changing it. That was another concert that DH and I saw with Johnny and his wife at a great little venue. I've seen him twice now as well and he's truly one of the greats in blues music.
