I think I'm going to get this dress for a wedding next month:

However, I'm at a loss as to what type/color/style of shoe to wear. Can someone help a styleless girl out?

How dressy is the wedding? What day of the week and time of the day? If it's a Saturday evening wedding, you might want a dressier shoe... assuming of course that you'll be comfortable and safe in a heel. I like the idea of picking up the light blue from the dress in either your shoe or maybe a clutch/small purse. That would be cute.

I'd do some sort of wedge type sandal if it's nice where you live... I'd go for comfort.

Where's witchy?

I think something like this would look nice, actually. And I wouldn't use that blue, unless it was something really strappy.

http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...tegoryID=35287

I like those sandals, TG. Do you think April 12 is too early to be sporting sandals? It's springtime in Ohio, it could just as easily be snowing as 85 degrees.

Also, I tend to shy away from matching the blue, just because I don't have anything else to wear with blue shoes. Perhaps this means I should do more shopping.

Theia, it's a Saturday evening wedding. But, it's a farmer's daughter marrying another farmer's son. So, basically I can get away with wearing whatever I want. I'd be comfortable in a heel, but maybe not a 4" stilleto heel.

Crazyeye: I am cankle free, thankyouverymuch.

Martin, those boots are AWESOME!

I'd go with something like TG posted. You can wear them again, they look reasonably comfy... Sometimes this time of year Target has some inexpensive sandals.

Nah, I wouldn't know a fashionable matching outfit if it smacked me upside the head. I'm pretty sure that makes me the backwards one.
