<p>I remember him when I was a teenager.  I hated him (not literally, just in football parlance) at the time because he was the QB for Dallas and the Saints had just came into the league.  He beat us regularly.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>But he was really a very nice and classic football player from that era. </p>

<p>RIP Dandy Don.</p>

<br><br><p>Oh yeah!  I remember that now.  I don't remember him as a player.  Only with Cosell and Gifford on Monday nights.  I was strictly Eagles focused before that.  Barely knew that other teams in the league existed.</p>
