Sign-up or practice? If it's signup, then it's kinda late. Even for intown, we have to see how many kids we get, so we know how many teams, and how many coaches. We have to divide the kids into teams, schedule etc.</p>

<p>If you're talking about practice, then for intown, it's kinda early as we have people still signing up through a good part of August. Practice would start one about a week before games started.</p>

<p>If it's Travel, then it's a little early, but not outrageous. These kids generally love soccer and want to play anyway. I would start my Travel practices in early August. They weren't really practices. They were scrimmages for about an hour (or longer if they wished) only once a week (still plenty of time to F around). After the "practice" DW would show up with popsickles or ice cream. Really just to get the kids remembering the fun of soccer. About 2-3 weeks before the season we would start the real practices.</p>
