Just curious as to why we have chosen the avatar that we did.

My former avatar, the Jeep, was chosen because I just love my toy. My new avatar, the LIG oval (Jake), is because I really want to be an optimist. By nature, I am more pessimistic, but I want to be different for my kids. I actually have the Runner Dude tattooed on my lower leg. My whole family has a wardrobe full of LIG shirts and hats. My son has the stickers all over his kayak, and I have the LIG Jake oval sticker on the back window of my truck.

What about you?

Mine is a picture of a little island next to Matia Island in the Puget Sound from last summer. We took a boat out to Orcas Island then just hopped around on all of those tiny little islands -it was fabulous!

I love the LIG "stuff" and the idea behind it. Always makes me stop and smile.

As for me- this is Rex, my running partner. I liked this picture because he's always so happy and I thought it really showed through. He's a reminder that I do what I do because it makes me happy and healthy.

Since I'm still having issues with my running, I decided to use my free time doing other things to keep active. Mine is a pic of me that I had taken during a day hike on the north lookout at the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary which is in the south eastern central part of Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful fall day with unlimited visibility.
