This is really gross.<br><br>
I noticed a funny spot on our bathroom ceiling yesterday - further inspection reveals that we have a <b>mushroom</b> growing out of our ceiling. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/puke.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="puke"> It's poked about a 1/2" through the paint so far, and there are a few other small (maybe an inch in diameter) squishy feeling spots under the paint within a few feet.<br><br>
The building is >50 years old, in a fairly humid climate, and we leave the bathroom window and door open when we shower. The mushroom is growing on the opposite side from where the shower is - so I don't think it's related to shower moisture.<br><br>
I'm guessing our upstairs neighbors have a leak , or there's a leaky pipe somewhere in the ceiling? Calling the manager this afternoon. I love living here but the building has had so many problems... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/crybaby2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="crybaby">

OMG! it is probably a leak from upstairs or a leaky toilet upstairs. I'd be spraying that bathroom down with bleach, BLECH.
