Has anyone worn one of those? I have occasional heart palpitations while running, and received a stress test. No problems were identified. The blood work was fine, too. Now the Dr. wants me to wear one of those for one month. I more or less decided that my high caffeine intake might have been the reason. (4 cups of black tea in the morning), but they still want me to go ahead with this...

I am glad your stress test went well. I have worn an event monitor twice in my life. I passed out twice and one time I felt like I was going to pass out at work. They put me on the event monitor for about a month like you. It isn't too big of a deal just a bit cumbersome at times. When you feel the palpitations you push a button and it records your heart rate for about 2 minutes. Then you have to call a number and put the receiver over the monitor. The signal is sent over the phone and they can print out a strip of your heart rate and rhythm. It is pretty amazing how it works. Nothing serious showed up on mine. Cutting out the caffeine has definitely helped.
