The MNFW area of operation is behind me now. My responsibilities in the battle space are turned over to another crew. It is a huge weight off my shoulders for sure, but some of it remains as a part of me. This new part of me springs from the ownership of the projects, the missions, the lives of the men and women who served under me. These do not get shrugged off and handed to the next Battalion at turnover. We carry them and they are part of a bond we share with each other and with all of our brothers and sisters in arms.<br>
I am thankful to God that due to our equipment, our training, our diligence, and His hand we all made it through unharmed. I am thankful to you, the PRT'rs, whose support was a blessing more than you know.
