Why? What did he do? I know nothing about this man, but I would think that if someone goes to a prostitute, the deserve to get exposed.

I'm interested in the kharma thing... what did he do to deserve to be run down by the kharma train? I'm curious...

He was often accused of being a bit overzealous as the AG. Going after people/industries that didn't deserve it, going after personal enemies, etc.

I wonder about the stupidity of human beings. You would think that people who are under a microscope would be more careful, but no.

I've heard from a relative that many criminals get caught over something stupid like not wearing a seatbelt or excessive speeding - as if they have this immunity complex.l

Why do you hate white collar crime fighters?

Spitzer often used the power of his office to go fishing for crime - he's wasn't really concerned whether actual crimes were committed.

I think that's a pretty twisted view of Spitzer. The reason this is shocking is because he has been a real champion of ethics, in particular in business and government.

I've been involved in more than one of his investigations. I know this to be true. Granted, I'm coming from the industry's POV - he's viewed as satan around here. But I also know that my clients were innocent of all charges.

He also had state police trailing opposition party leaders, at the cost of the taxpayers. He was a champion of ethics when it served his purposes.

http://www.nysun.com/article/71677

Oh c'mon, what lawyer believes his clients are innocent?

Remember the Sol Wachtler scandal? It's like old times, really.

He's linked.

Does that mean he's running it or just a client?

I was under the mistaken impression that he'd call off the dogs once we could show our innocence. Instead, his office just pressed harder. The way he ran his office reminded me of the mob. This latest news confirms my initial impression.
