Go Amethyst! Good job, Meri. Dang, tigger

3.25 miles, 31:50 minutes at about 7:30 this morning. So it was a faster pace for me however I took the easy way out and went for a mostly downhill run.

BUT it was 10*F and my ITB didn't like the cold just around the 3 mile mark. I decided not to wait until this afternoon and go uphill according to my original plan.

Not a great effort today.

I had a big turkey dinner at 1pm, and the body did not like that. It caused me

stomach issues towards the end of the run.

I really did not like running in the wind.
Run Segments
Hope whatever is ailing you gets better soon. Is it still the rightbelowyourbutt muscle from the treadmill? Hope you find something to ease that up if it is.

I just discoverd an awesome running trail. Some of the footing isn't the greatest but it was fantastic. I was on the road and saw a little gravel road. I turned down it and it tunred into a ATV/walking trail or something that went along the river. It was about 3 or 4 feet wide and the only way I could tell where it was was from tire tracks/a bit shorter grass and that was it. It was so much more fun than the roads though with lots of little hills and corners, and actual scenery besides fields!

Not really sure how long since I can't use runningmap to find it so next time I'm taking Coach's Garmin and finding out. Todays run was probably almost 11.5 miles though and progressive I guess. I just kept speeding up it felt like. The end I was pretty tired but I haven't run in the double digits for like 4 or 5 weeks so I'm pleased. That was the best runner's high in a while for me, hope the rest of you have runs like this soon.

Well I'm gonna go eat and ice up/soak in the hot tub. Have a good night and hope Easter went well.

Alex
