ouch. Lower back, calves, and hammies sore. I could tell I was dehydrated right after that race yesterday. Maybe if I stop doing dumb stuff, I could enjoy some of my runs a little more

Rest day today. I may try and take a spin on my bike if I can fit it into my hectic schedule today.

Happy Easter!

I got out for 13 miles. Last long run of this marathon cycle. Decent weather - 45F, party cloudy and a reasonable breeze. My legs are just not working. I may ask for a refund on them.

BBS - what did you do at Hooters? Take it easy.

RA- some things best left unsaid... nice job on the 13

I got out for 2.5 miles on frankenbike. Meh, its a start. Looked at new Treks the other day @ a bike store. Of course the guy at the store said I wouldn't be happy with the $400 bike, but the $500 bike would be a lot better for me.... the $500 clams ain't too bad, but the helmet, flat kit, water bottle set up, bike hauler and attire will add up. Crap. Xtraining is gonna be expensive.

Happy Easter Everyone !!! Anyone find some cool goodies in the Easter basket?

Rest day today. Ran yesterday 11 m with TnT philly group. We ran Chestnut Hill/Fairmount Park and it is a beautiful run. Had a little trouble because no one ran my pace and ended up going to fast then too slow. Legs were tired from hill work during the week but need to keep it up to be ready for the hills I keep hearing about in San D., CA

Gotta get ready for the family visits, so enjoy the day all and Happy Easter!

He is risen!!! "Rest" day. I was up at 5am to put the breakfast casserole in the oven, at church by 6:15. Sunrise service at 6:30, followed by a very yummy breakfast! Always fun tasting different breakfast casseroles. Regular service at 9:30. Just now putting finishing touches on Easter dinner. Hope to take a nap this afternoon, then church this evening at 7:30.

Hi folks. I have shin splints or something. It was sore yesterday and worse today. So I only did one mile. And I also did a very, very leisurely walk with Miss Sunshine.

A little brag on my 4 year old: he is super close to being able to ride a bike. We went from balance bike to regular bike, skipping the training wheels. He can ride on his own if he doesn't notice I'm not holding him up. I think by the end of the summer we'll all be able to go riding together.

Good evening all, hope you enjoyed your Easter if you celebrate it. I did my bit of observance in the morning then when I got home decided the weather was just too nice to not take advantage. So I doubled my pleasure...ride + a run. 13 miles riding on the trail in my own "frankenbike" (like BBS I'm looking to upgrade too), then I quickly put the bike away, switched out of the bike shorts and into running shorts, then hit the neighborhood 5k course at recovery pace. All in all a great day.

Evening all and Happy Easter. Took son2 to the track for a late morning recovery run and did 16 laps for which he joined me on 4 of them, then did a 5th on his own after I was done. Then off to the in-laws and enjoying some perfect kite-flying weather.
