<p> I gotta wonder how this idea ever came into being.   It happens here at least every  2 months.  A vehicle pulls into my driveway and they come in to my dooryard and try the hard sell!  Agh.  I suppose some people like the  convenience of having meat delivered to their door... but they always think their price will be better than anything I  can get at the store... Not.  One I don't buy enough steak to make it worrrth a plan and two. I would go broke offering a  17 year old boy a whole steak of any price!</p>

<p>  Does this only happen to me or do you have sales people selling stuff to you in your driveways too?</p>

<p>Happens here occasionally.  I never buy from door-to-door sales people, no matter how good they say their prices are.</p>

<p>Like, my mom's awfully proud of an unlabeled tub of Mexican chicken mole sauce she bought out of a truck, in some parking lot.</p>

That never happens here, but, years ago, my parents did actually opt for that (like 30 years ago). And they got a nice fridge as part of the deal too. And, after their passing, we had the fridge for like 10 years after that. I think it ended up being a good deal.<br><br>
The food...you ordered this and that off a card. it was all vacuum packed (this was way before that type of stuff was standard). And it was pretty good. And a good selection of items too. It was a year commitment.<br><br>
Meat, vegetables, fruit. Delivered monthly.

<br><br><p>  I can just picture it .. Monday  delivery arrives...  30 lbs of meat.  Tuesday  DS gets home from school early. 30lbs of meat devoured.  The rest of us could live on the fruit and veggies like squirrels.</p>

<p>A door to door lady asked me if I liked salads.  I told her yes, and then she left.  It was pretty strange.  She also recommended a fabulous product called <a href="http://www.unitedstatesofvitamins.com/cart/welcome-womb-2-oz.html" target="_blank">Welcome Womb Wish Gardens</a>.  I didn't try it, but it's supposedly great for pregnancy to prevent miscarriage.</p>
