Do school dances still end with Stairway to Heaven?

It was well entrenched still in the 80's when I was in HS.  From what I heard the tradition was alive and well here in the 90's.<br>

<p>That would be why I'm not familiar with the practice. I know the song, but I don't think it was ever played at any school dances I went to.</p>

<p>Playing STH at the end of the dance had nothing to do with "dancing". <br><br>

it was NOT the Van Halen cover ... had never heard that till just now when I checked it out  ... our school hired the same DJ for every dance and for some reason he liked to end our dances with this  ...</p>
