Ok...this happened yesterday at the end of the school day.

It has also happened after a spin class or 2...and some other times.

I occaisionally get a Charlie horse in my left abdomen. Same spot every time.

No one else I know gets them there.

My abs are still sore from yesterday.

I wonder if it has anything to do w/surgery incisions...but all my skin was removed, so I don't know if there was anything there to begin with.

Maybe you're just engaging that part of your abs when you do spin?
I find that I'll have sore abs after working out, when the workout didn't seem all that hard at the time.
It'll take a day or two, too. DOMS, I guess.

I always blame Lisa for the things that are sore on my body. She can take it!

When you say stitches are y'all referring to side stitches while running?
Like when your insides hurt.

I get weird pains in my ab region (cramps) often when I am running. I have had the pain last for up to a few days (though I wouldnt describe it as a Charlie horse). My problems went away when I started taking magnesium.

Magnesium cured my chronic leg cramps years ago. I still take it during periods of heavy training and around races.

Perhaps the pain is from scar tissue inside (adhesions) due to your operation. I've had tons of problems from these, including requiring more surgery after a surgery to cut (release) them and also complicating another operation due to an organ being hidden by them ...

Bonnie...I hope you're WRONG. Tithers needs no more surgeries.

Luckily, it's "random" and not "often"

It happens to me quite often and has for years. It usually happens after a hard workout. I am prone to charlie horses in my calves and feet as well. The other day after a long run, I bent over to stretch and my tricep cramped...not this one was new. It has never happened before, but I could literally not move my arm for like an entire minute. I lost a lot of salt...i know i did because I was covered in it. I think it might have something to do with tensing the muscles and not getting enough hydration...but it is a total guess.
