Any good ways to cook brocolli? I actually like brocolli and my kids will actually eat it but we ALWAYS steam it and serve it with a little butter and salt. It's getting a little boring.

Tonight for me is eating out, most likely it will be seafood. Meeting a friend to go see a chick flick (27 dresses). I could use a night out!!

Kristine: I partially steam it, only about half way...then saute in olive oil and garlic. I also like to add a little crushed red pepper........love it that way

It's Wednesday, that means meatloaf. My son has his paper route Wednesday afternoons, so at lunchtime, I make a meatloaf and put it in the fridge. When we get back from the paper route, I put the meatloaf in the oven.

we have vegitarian pizza at the house that the blonde roommie got..... it's vegitarian pizza.....with chicken. I told her that it was just chicken pizza with a lot of vegetables which started a veggie vs carni discussion. It's always fun discussing with a blonde.

Chinese New Year Eve dinner tonight at my parents place, so not sure what's on the menu, I believe tomorrow is the vegetarian meal (I think?) but I did have shepard's pie for lunch! Home made and hot out of the oven! (Worked an overnight shift so I was home today)

Hmm. Try this link. It's from another food blogger who got permission to republish the recipe from her book.

Actually I was feeling better and now I'm not again but I haven't eaten anything but apples, oreos ( double stuff) and oyster crackers since last friday. I need some substance in my meals.

And I'm going home early today so I will have plenty of time before I have to jump into my nyquil coma
