Had a bit of a dessert incident last night thanks to sucky work.

Chocolate Coconut Sorbet - to die for...but then I also made butterscotch brownies. Good thing dinner was soup.

Tonight we're having an Indian tofu stir fry with garam masala and caramelized onions, naan bread to go with.

thank you for talking about your soup. I just remembered that I took roasted pepper soup out last night to thaw, and then went to bed before I ate it - I never would have remembered that tonight, and I stuck the container in a weird spot in my kitchen.

so my tupperware thanks you.

Crockpot chicken. Not exactly sure what. I'll just throw the chicken, broth, and some sort of spices in before son and I head out for a ride. Hopefully will have time to bake some bread, too. Some kind of vege. Then brownies for dessert.

I have a whole chicken defrosting in the fridge. Do you use a broiler/fryer in the crockpot recipe? What do/did you throw in with it? I don't know what to do with it, and it'd be nice to throw it in the crockpot tomorrow morning and have something yummy for dinner.

Tonight is vege stirfry with chinese noodles that we didn't have last night. Last night was a salad, scrambled eggs, cheeze grits (with nutritional yeast) and frozen spinach pancakes that I found on sale at the grocery store. I broiled them, and they tasted like hashbrowns.

Someone posted a real recipe the other day. I'm too lazy to really cook, so I take short cuts! I google crockpot recipes to get cooking times.

I threw onion flakes and bullion in the bottom of the crock pot. Skinned the chicken. Uh, whatever kind of whole chicken you get at the grocery store. Put the chicken in the crock pot and added a couple inches of water. Turned it on 'high', and left for our bike ride. Came home and the house smells WONDERFUL! Now I'm baking bread. I'm starving and everything smells good!
