Am I screwed? I had an 18 miler planned but was camping with the family all weekend.

All kinds of physical activity. Lots of swimming and kayaking. Some hiking and biking, and a little trail running with the DD, which I really enjoyed and made me feel like a kid again.

On the up side my feet and legs feel rested and my PF has had a chance to calm down. Down side is I'm tired, but its a good tired not the fatigued kind.

Should I adjust my schedule or just stick to what's left and keep going?

I'm no where near qualified to offer any advice....

I started at Green Lake yesterday morning to do my long run (10 miles - would have been the first time going that far) and made it 4 than tanked. Never had that happen before. I can always push through and get the miles done. Frustrated and disappointed. I'm doing last week's schedule over again this week and will try for the 10 again nex Sunday.

Hoping to help out at the Green Lake Endurance run - have to check our schedule.

I think you should just continue along with your schedule. I figure from your profile that you probably have a good running base anyway, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Agree with Nettie. With your base, nothing lost from the missed long run. The extra rest is just as beneficial and who knows, you might be a bit more fresh come race day. Roll with it!

Thanks roots (nettie too) I was hoping you would check in. Just needed to hear it I guess.

Sounds like an awesome weekend! I am looking forward to kayaking and hiking this weekend myself.

About the long run, I agree with Nettie & roots, and am going to move this into The Race where you might get a few more responses.

I don't think any single run is going to make a big difference. Carry on with the schedule and be thankful for the rest.
