Delta Airlines has a very non-chalant attitude when transporting pets and they have for years. And for years people have had to deal with rude Delta agents concerning their lost pets Delta had accepted for carriage at an extra fee. This one just grates a little more on the nerves.

At first Delta wouldn't even fly the owner to Atlanta to hunt for the dog and the officer paid their own way here. Delta then told them that someone reported seeing a van coaxing a dog like the missing one into it. Once the story hit the papers Delta decided to pay for the ticket for the passenger to get to Atlanta.

Delta should be either banned from transporting animals or made to demonstrate what kind of quality control they have in place to make sure animals do not get out of their cages and die on Atlanta expressways. I'm so embarrassed Delta is an Atlanta business.
