I ran last night at the track, so technically that was a November run. 4 X 200m hard, 200m jog, 2 X 400m hard, 400m jog, then repeat. It was cold! But dry and no wind, so I can't complain.

Hi ksrunr, Hi fred!

I ran last night (first official December run!) in the blazing dark and cool. Only in the 50s and the Christmas lights are starting to appear everywhere.

Hi Heme! Hi Sans Souci! Hi Laura! Hi Simon, I love baclava! Hi Fredurie! Hi ksrunr! Hi Ribs!

My plan is run every day this week and race twice as well. In the mix is also two running club Xmas parties, one work birthday potluck and one extravagant Christmas luncheon! I am doomed to overeat!

Hi tigger! Hi Fortunate One! Hi Flying Finn!!

Yes, Fortunate One, find a race to fly in!

Hey Spareribs, how's the back?

Beefcake? <clicking on photo link now>

Getting into marathon trainng now. Beefed up my mileage last week to 47 miles. A very inconvenient time of year for this.

I was so excited to see the rain only came a little bit this weekend, that I got the most Christmas running done than I ever have before.

Friday 15 miles, Saturday 5 miles, Sunday 6 miles. Woot!

Ran 5 miles last night against gale force freezing winds! Feeling very smug that dark, rain, cold and wind haven't kept me from running this winter. :)

Time now to step up the mileage for the coming marathon: 18 miles in the morning.

Hi Heme! It must have been a great workout!
