Merry Christmas! May you have a beautiful day celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Easy early morning trot for me. Later than usual so I missed all the Christmas lights, but I did get to see a beautiful sun rise. Santa brought me an early gift that were just begging for a test run.

Morning 4bm & Dave. 4bm are those Mirages by any chance? I have a pair of those in the closet which I will try once my current road trainers (Brooks Defyance) wear out.

Chilly but beautiful morning for a run, 28 and no wind. Planned on going 10 but when I hit the 5 mile turnaround point there was no way I was stopping. So on I went and completed my trail loop for just short of 12. Felt absolutely great this morning, cruised along effortlessly at sub-8 pace.

Hope everyone has a great day. Merry Christmas to all.

Dave- Merry Christmas

Hawk- Nice job on the almost 12er

Rest day for me, although as much as I ate yesterday, I should get out and do something... but there is no time. In Laws lunch followed by my parents house dinner. Oh, and work called, gotta work 1st shift tomorrow morning, but it will be considered a holliday and that means triple time, so no complaints here.

I got the Runner's Rule book for Christmas, which I'm enjoying already

Merry Christmas and Happy Festivus, Hanukkuh, Kwanzaa, Indian Republic Day, early Buddha Day, or whatever tickles you.

Mom -- Those look wicked! Hope they felt good.

David -- Good holiday to you. No workout?

Hawk -- Wish there was a way to bottle those runs. Have a great day.

BBS -- That's a great read. Enjoy your day.

Me -- Present fest here with the little ones. I could've settled in with a good book or video games, but opted for a nice 30-mile bike ride. All that winter gear sure slows me down. It'll pay off later.
