This is the inaugural edition of the Kick Masters Mileage Monthly. In future editions, I'll try to come up with witty commentary and beautiful pictures, but I just want to get the thread up and going before everyone despairs this month. For this month, we'll try the old standby - report in the thread, and admire and comment as you feel appropriate. If it gets unwieldy - and I'm suspecting it won't, given how things are shaking themselves out - we can try out that data entry form thang.

I'm also open to the notion that this thread is redundant, given the multiplicity of other reporting going on.

This group impresses me with its commitment to exercising through injury, and I want to be sure that those who XT, by virtue or by necessity, are recognized, so I propose to track the following:

Total Miles run/walked
Total Yards/Metres swum
Total Mileage on the bike
Total Hours of training of any kind (if you track that sort of thing)

I intend to push right up to midnight on the 31st, so won't be reporting my own stats for a while. The thread will close early on the 2nd if possible, as I'm going skiing that afternoon and don't know whether I'll be able to tabulate from up yonder.

Beta Thread Disclaimer

Warning! Please note that this thread is a pre-release, beta version of the Master's Miles Thread and you may experience some performance issues. You may consider backing up your running log prior to posting on this thread. Sally recommends SportTracks, a quick and reliable sport logging solution.

I think I'm done for the month, but will come back to edit if I decide to run tomorrow.

December miles: 66

2007 miles: 850

And that *850* was purely happenstance . . . I didn't pre-calculate my mileage today to make me end at a round number. It just happened. Isn't that just beautiful??!!
