Good day everyone. I am currently in Afghanistan and will be traveling back home soon.

Today is a scheduled rest day. I have spent that last 3 months training indoors, trying to build a little base; with Monday, Wednesday, Friday being run days and Tuesdays and Saturdays being spin bike days. Thursday and Sunday are my rest days. Normally I would train on Thursdays, but do to my schedule I just don’t have time in the mornings. I have been weight training almost every night, exception of Sundays and lazy days. I can't wait to get home and be able to train outdoors.

This coming week is a cut back week, which works out great since I will be traveling for almost 18 hours.

We have had a couple of beautiful days with crystal clear skys. Just a beautiful sight.
