<p>4 miles = 16 points</p>
<p>20 minutes extra stuff (squats, lunges, plyometrics, pushups, dips, stretching) = 4 points</p>
<p>TOTAL = 20 points for Team 2 for now...  More to come.</p>

<p>Traditionally, over 45° is Long Sleeve and Shorts weather, but I kept the long pants on this morning ... It's dark anyway, and there's no one around, so why worry about making a fashion statement???</p>

<p>The ducks and geese were up and waddling at the 2-mile turn, but still no roosters; I thought I heard an owl back in the woods, but he only hooted once, so I can't confirm this.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Managed a strong finish today as I invented a new game: I reached the light 1/2 mile out from home as a NJ Transit train blew his horn at the RR Xing behind me. The train coming the other way would pass in 4 minutes ... My goal was to get home before the 2nd horn blew. I <em>almost</em> made it ... the train honked as I made the turn into the development; I missed by 30 seconds, maybe??? Oh well, it was fun just the same</p>

50 degrees is my cut off for long pants.  I *love* running in long sleves and shorts.  Perfect weather. Alas, I opted for treadmill this morning.  Man, it's boring.</p>

<p>I'll tell you one other thing I've noticed now.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>All the talking head shows (ABC Good Morning America, NBC Today, CBS Morning Show), not only show the same news, you can expect that, but almost all of them have the same "feature" things too.  And at the same friggin' time!</p>

<p>I can tell this because there are 12 TVs in front of me at the gym.  On Thursday, they were ALL doing stories on Queen Elizabeth visiting Prince William's Air Force Base.  All at the same time.  Even the same video. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Friday, they all had that story about that woman who is suing because she can't shut her eyes.  Today, all three networks were doing a story on that Orca that killed that trainer. Same video, same pictures.</p>

<p>Do they all sit together and talk about when to run stories? </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Oh, and someone behind my neighborhood (didn't think there was anything back there, actually, I KNOW there's nothing back there for a mile or more), someone has a rooster.  And the damn turkeys, crapping all over my lawn.  Actually, I like them, they eat fleas and ticks.</p>

We do it every year to clean out the muck, leaves, and random beach chairs that disappear into there.  This year also, we took out a dock and built a new one.  I haven't seen it, but I talked to a guy today about it and he says it's too small.<br>

<p>Ok, I would have sworn Ihad already posted my activity for today in this thread.  But at my age who knows.  At any rate I ran 6.5 miles today and did 15 minutes of aerobic rowing exercise.  31 points for team drei.</p>
