Good morning, runners. Just a quick note here to start the weekend.<br><br>
Thank you for your cooperation with the check-in. We ended up with 45 players and 3 even teams.<br><br>
Its been asked where to make a team thread, either in the PRT or here. I'll let you figure out how to congregate and strategize with your team. Pick a spot.<br><br>
Another question raised about if its appropriate to enter a "0" if you did not earn points for the day. Yes, as this will help me determine if everyone has reported in, or not. To reiterate, at tabulation time I will lock the thread to make a record. If you get shut out, please PM me to I can add your points and amend the leaderboard.<br><br>
Another suggestion has been to PM your results in, rather than to post them. I am open to discuss this topic, if posting your workouts is an issue for you. Not here, but in the discussion thread.<br><br>
Lastly, the scoring entry is going well save for a few arithmatic errors. If I see a scoring issue, I will PM to you and allow you to edit/correct your entry before the tabulation takes place (first time on Monday.)<br><br>
I don't intend to start the daily thread every day, so if you're first then go right ahead and start us off.<br><br>
Now. Lets see some great weekend milage.<br>

3.1 mile race = 12 pts.<br><br>
but the day is still young!...<br><br>
edited to add:<br>
Just got back from 2 miles hiking in an Everglades National Park = 8 additional points<br><br>
SO...<br>
3.1 mi race this morning = 12 pts<br>
2 mi walk = 8 pts<br>
total = 20 pts GO TEAM C!

Alternate workout- Weight training 20 mins= 4pts.<br><br>

Dan, can't you do some long mileage, and take your radio with you so you can listen to the game while you run? <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"><br><br>

10.5 mile run = 42 pts<br><br>
1.75 mile walk/jog with dog = 7 pts<br>
(Trust me - at 105 lbs of muscle & currently on thyroid meds - it's a work out!)<br><br>
My shins are cussing me right now - so I'm calling it a day!<br><br>
