<p>Good day all.  Hope everyone has a great training day!</p>

<p>10 miles for me this morning - 40 points</p>
<p>15 min stretching + bonus - 8 points</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For team <strong>LA</strong></p>

<p>6 miles progression and fartlek</p>
<p> </p>
<p>20 minutes stretching and core (15+ was stretching)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Then I was at a birthday party and a volleyball game broke out.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>24 + 12 + 5 bonus points = 41 points team LacticAsses</p>

<p> 3 mile recovery run - 12pts</p>
<p> 30 min pilates and stretching - 6pts</p>
<p> stretching bonus - 5pts</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Total: 23pts</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I'll likely run again this afternoon.</p>

<p>8 pts 15 minutes stretching and I am totally watching the clock for every minute because it seems to take so dang long. But, it's good for me so I'll keep at it.</p>

<p>12 hot, nasty miles. By mile 4 my shorts were saturated. By mile 6 they were dripping. By mile 8 my socks began to squish. Given that this morning was nicer than usual, I think the next 6 weeks will be quite unpleasant.</p>

I get 5 pts for volunteering at that race!  Crap! I didn't know you were running it (and I can't remember who you are in real life) or I would have said hello.  I was calling out times at the finish line.  We'll have to meet in person some day (if we haven't already).</p>

<p>So, 3 miles walk + 1 hour stretching DVD + 5 pt. volunteer bonus + 5 pt. stretching bonus = 34 pts. for <strong>LACTIC ASSES</strong>!</p>
