Seems like forever since I've run at Moonset.

Grey and cool, but at least the wind was pretty still. Most of the puddles from the weekend have dissipated, so I didn't have to do much hopping & skipping to dodge them. Apparently, a lot of yardwork got done Sunday and Monday, as there is the Springtime scent of newly laid mulch, freshly cut grass and recently spread fertilizer. No wysteria or lilacs yet; I guess those are more May-ish???

Get 5:15-5:30ish to get out of the house close to 5:45 ... roughly 45 minutes for 5 miles then a stroll around the block to cool down [I don't count that, BTW]. If I wake up late, though, and don't hit the road until 6:00, I aim for 3 miles then start negotiating:

"Well, D'Kid has gym today, so you don't need to iron her uniform = ten minutes saved = one more mile"

"D'Kid has hot lunch today so you don't need to pack one = ten minutes saved = one more mile"

You get the idea ...

Back in the house; check the FB, check the email, log in VRAA points [the scoring site is blocked at work]. D'Kid's alarm goes off at 7:00; we're at the bus stop at 7:45

I went ahead and did 7 miles tonight because it looks like it might rain tomorrow. If it does, I'll probably catch the treadmill at the gym.
