Running at noon and going to the gym tonight - should be a better points day for me.

Thought the bonus only counted if you stretched pre or post run.

5 miles easy as a warm up, the leg felt okay, so I decided to do a 1 mile ON, 1 mile OFF run from there on, where I would run the ON miles harder but not too hard. This one went very well.

12.25 miles running = 49 points

1/2 mile cool down walk = 2 points.

51 total points for Team Lactic Asses.

Well, I said you get a bonus if you participate in a yoga/stretching class or stretch 15 minutes pre or post run. I've seen others post about their stretching sans run and I think that any stretching is good stretching. A 15 minute morning stretch would be on par with a 15 minute yoga session, which would count for a bonus so I hereby officially decree that any 15 minutes of stretching will count for a bonus.

I hope that doesn't come in too late and skew anyone's point accrual.

4 mile run. 16 points Team Lactic Asses.

I'm glad the stretching in the morning counts towards the bonus because I run on my lunch break and can't stretch for 15 minutes pre- or post- run and still run any significant miles. That would eat up 2 miles right there.

Yes, I would say that the stretches I do are equivalent to a 15:00 stretching or yoga class. Some of the movements are prescribed by my chiropractor.

Looking forward to going to the gym tonight. I hope. Lots of cancelations lately.
