I spent 25 minutes on the stair machine over my lunch break. bleah. I'd rather have been running.

Nope. Anusara. We worked on handstands and this pose today. I hadn't done any arm balances in a while so it was rather challenging.

Ran around the track at varying speed tonight in the pouring rain, prolly 4.25 miles total with the walking, so another 17 points for Team Two.

Randy, are you being facetious or do you really want to know?

Short answer, regardless of what you say to the above, is that it's all about alignment.

Not-so-short answer (but hopefully just as succinct) is that a yoga pose is practiced from the inside out. As opposed to just making shapes with the body, i.e. Just Standing There and Just Laying There. Attitude+Action+Alignment are what make up a yoga pose, even when it looks like nothing's going on on the outside.

Seriously though, that was a great response, thanks OM

Well thank you! You do know I'm a yoga teacher, right? I don't teach anymore... but I guess I still know my stuff. ;)
