Everything is okay. TIA again. Not sure why because he's been on his meds and everything is under control?? He'll be staying overnight. But not another stroke

At bro's now and got him some dinner but will be headed back home soon since there's nothing I can do

Compared to what it could have been, anyways.

Was worried it was either another stroke or an OD. He's not reduced his pain medicine for a while when we go to the pain doctor-- right after my mom died, he was fervent about that then it kinda tapered off. And he's still using Duragesic patches, which I hatehatehate.

TIA = transient ischemic attack. It's called a mini-stroke sometimes but it's not really a stroke. They can be signs a stroke is coming. The symptoms are like a stroke, but they aren't permanent and don't cause lasting damage.

Duragesic patches are a pain medicine... It gets abused by being chewed on instead of worn, and is supposed to produce a high more powerful than heroin.. which I believe, because it's what finally killed my mom and my mom could pop enough pills to bring down Ozzy Osbourne without blinking an eye. It's also what killed my friend Matt. And part of the prior overdose that left my dad in a coma for a while. My dad doesn't intentionally abuse pain medicine like my mom did, but he'll "forget' and take other pain medicine while wearing the patch which you're not supposed to do and that kind of stuff. I think fentanyl is the generic name... He has a fairly high dosage on it, and the oxycodone, too.
