Ironman Gresham isn't enough?</p>
<p>Galway is an awesome city for an event like this, and what's even better is that the area is, probably, the only "flat" part of the entire country. I don't think you could hold a 70.3 or even 140.6 in any other part of the country without making the course too hilly. Fun city.</p>
<p>I did two marathon relays in Belfast in the north and loved the experience of racing in another country.  I can't even imagine doing an IM there (well, I can't imagine doing an IM period).  I can bet you, seriously, there will be Guinness at all the water stops.</p>
