<span style="font-family:'Courier New';">I just happened to click on the CoolRunning forums earlier this afternoon. Last time was a couple weeks ago at least. They (Active) are <i>still</i> having problems over there. Couple of the forums wouldn’t even open. There is an entry made back on Jan 23, I think, by one of the Active people. He said they know they’ve lost many of us to other sites but that they know we’re checking back in occasionally and that they hope we return permanently when they get everything fixed. WTF??? Did anyone get fired over that SNAFU?</span><br><br><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">Dan</span>

You mean like the entire development team? I worked for a company that eventually went down on a technicality... (bad decision to change platforms). But I left before they went down.<br><br>
Not sure what happened here but it must be either a very interesting situation (I'm a software developer) or very bad planning.

There are still some knuckleheads over there hanging on ... to what / for what, I can't figure out.<br><br>
After the cut-over I held on there for about a month; but after being over here for a few days ... <i>mahalo</i>.<br><br>
What <b>am</b> I going to do with my 11+K Active points? Oh, that's right ... nuthin'!

I think he is dreaming if he actually thinks we are going back there. There would need to be a huge advantage over what we have here, and given the lack of paying attention to what their members wanted to begin with, it's highly doubtful they are capable. I was checking in over there every so often, but they never fixed having to login every day and announced they had no plan to do so. No thanks. They had their chance and blew it.

You're at a party in high school; Graduation - biggest one of the year. You might not be in that Senior Class, you might go to that school; hell, it might be your cousin in Ohio's school and even though you're just visiting from Nebraska, you're welcomed. You meet people you like. You find out that they weren't invited either, that they just <i>found out</i> about it.<br><br>
If you're really lucky ... well, y'know.<br><br>
Then the cops come. Not real cops, but people who say "The party has been relocated."<br><br>
As people file out of the farm, talk immediately begins of the "next" party - which will absolutely NOT be where it was supposed to be.<br><br>
In the back of your mind, you feel bad for the Math-lete kids who catered the relo-party as an attempt to hijack coolness, but if they'd just asked us ...
