The Inn at Squaw Valley for the start. It's pricey but worth it. You'll have your own kitchen and only be a few minutes from the start and all of the hoopla.

I didn't try. You might be better to book a room in Auburn or Sacremento. I stayed in a nice hospital room which I would not recommend.

I have no idea how the logistics here work and the website does not give a lot of info.<br><br>
So do we stay in one room for the start then another at the finish and someone brings our things to the finish? me confused. I would. Assuming you are flying in and out of Sacramento. Most people I talked did it that way.

Once the race starts your DH will have enough time to go back to the room and load up the car. Your hubby will meet you for the first time at Robinson Flat - 29 miles into the race.<br><br>
