Currently, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with wind chill it is -45C. In fahrenheit that comes out to -49. Funny thing is, on Saturday I was running outside in short sleeves. The forecast for tomorrow morning, without windchill is for -38C (-36F).

I always wonder about this time of year why I live here. Can never figure it out, nor can I figure out why my ancestors ould have chosen this particular climate to settle in. But its a dry cold.

Sorry for the cold temps. Here we are suppose to reach 70 today. Which is great now, but during the summer months you have to deal with triple digits and high humidity. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

On Friday it was -3F...and then I ran in shorts on my long run Sunday! As for today...I ran an early 9 miles and could have easily worn shorts and my sweatshirt...tonight is going to be -2F...we're supposed to swing over 40 degrees in 18 hours...thanks for sending all that cold stuff down....

I must really be a baby. It has either been 2 degrees or raining or 2 degrees or raining every time I have ventured out lately. I'm miserable with training. Of course it's a wet cold....so that makes it MUCH worse.

-37 with wc. I ran outside yesterday by the encouragement of dh, "hurry, hurry before the storm. The roads are clear" It hailed on me. and brave me turned down a ride from a passerby, saying I was almost home. It was the longest 5 minutes of my life. Got home and stripped down and ran on the treadmill in bra and undies!!!
