<p>WOW!!! <em>This </em>has the makings of a Sledgehammer Match*</p>

<p>* Imagine a certain US Open tennis quarter-final where a 39 year-old Jimmy Connors got beaten in the first set 3-6, came back in the second to win 7-6, then took the third set off [1-6] before taking charge in the fourth [6-3] and going for full drama in the fifth [another 7-6, back from a 2–5 deficit in the final set with a 4 point tie-breaker] ... the match lasted 4 hours and 41 minutes and as I said to D'Wife ... those rackets must feel like sledgehammers</p>

<p>Of course, the <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/tennis/wimbledon/7852253/Wimbledons-longest-match-John-Isner-victorious-as-marathon-match-finally-ends.html" target="_blank">marathon</a> at Wimbedon this year was "beyond category" as they say</p>
