Should I stay or should I go now?

If I stay there will be trouble, if I go there will be double...

Here's the situation. Keen-eyed PRT denizens will realize that the weather in Calgary has reached a level of suckitude that is unparallelled... um, this year. (it can be pretty sucky any time, but that's Calgary).

So, we have a window of opportunity to go camping tonight (in the van), hike a bit tomorrow and then catch up with friends in the evening. Most of the same friends might join us for a hike. But it will likely be cloudy and drizzly and in the mountains some of that white stuff that falls from the sky might actually do so.

The alternative is to stay in town, dull and boring and omnipresent, but get a practice in for next week's folk club performance. We could squeeze one in tomorrow after the hike... but...

So should I be responsible and stay or should I be the eternal irritating optimistic and go?
