With registration opening in 2 days, I thought I'd start a thread where we can keep track of who is coming and whatnot. I live about 2-3 blocks from the finish this year!<br><br>

It's funny, because I always seem to think about your Chicago Marathon when I'm running a marathon. I remember back then you talking about the deathmarch and I'm thinking, "How in the hell can someone finish in such an awesome time while struggling?"<br><br>
Now I get it, but back then, it was unfathomable that one could walk during a marathon and run 3:44.

Did I tell you guys that my wife gave prelim greem light for this race? I need to get my buddy committed to the race. He's been in the Cayman Islands, I wonder if he's back yet. I wouldn't mind getting signed up before I leave to race this weekend.

To BQ I need a 3:45:59, but by then I'm hoping to blow the doors off the finish. Just need this leg to hold up and my mileage to be where it was last summer. I lost the lbs. I wanted to and have already felt the effects with a nice boost in speed <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"> Momma is going for broke!!!!!!
If I get my BQ this weekend (and that seems like a big if) then I think it would be really fun to pace you guys. My buddy (if he signs up) should be able to run about a 3:40 in his debut...provided he does the training and all that. So we could potentially run all or a lot of the race together.<br><br>

Yes, right now I can be seeded in corral D but I'm planning to better my HM time before the deadline and thus making it into corral C.
